Edit history

"One Day Away" is a sydney based alternative/punk rock band consisting of Alex Burkitt (vox/guitar), Tom Ferson (bass/back up vox) and Tim Milner (drums). The band begun in mid-2004 with mates Alex and Tom deciding to join powers to create a crisp punk rock sound. The original search for a drummer was a long and boring one, and their first drummer, Marcus Dullard helped them on their way to the sound they posess today, but Marcus left to persue a different musical direction. The second search for a drummer in early 2007 was approached with a much more serious attitude, and the reusult was a reply to an add in the drum media by Tim Milner. Tim has been an excellent addition to the boys of One Day Away. They have been writing music as One Day Away ever since, and with a taste of music ranging from Underoath to Bloc Party to Unwritten Law, the band have what they like to think as a collection of fresh and original punk/alternative rock tracks.
