One Dirty Bird have played together in one form or another for the better part of a decade. Singer Cookie hails from Dalby where he developed a taste for live music at the Hoogie Youth Music Festival. Stu and Paulie Cumming both grew up in nearby Pittsworth, and studied music in Toowoomba. Guitarist Luke Crane, originally from Maryborough, met the remaining members during his lengthy student years in Toowoomba and fell into the 'lead guitarist' role against his will. The boys have played in Dalby and caused minor damage, Toowoomba potentially too often and the rest of Queensland when they're allowed to leave town.
