ONE WHITE SHOE AKA: Mr Mister, AKA Matt Mister... and so the story goes. Grounded in the roots of Soul and Jazz, One White Shoe established himself as a DJ at the early age of 12 recording his own (very bad, even for a 12 year old) radio shows on his age old Sony Cassette recorder. Producing his own adverts and jingles he would play these back to whoever would listen. These people numbered in the 2 or 3's and probably only listened to the whole tape out of sheer pity. By the age of 14 he followed the lead of his older brother and began breakdancing. Soon he had achieved the prestigeous status of "that kid who can dance like hammer". After 4 or 5 years of dancing for a renowned Melbourne Dance group he left the exciting world of dance off's and dance/fashion parades to return to his DJ career. In the process of building his DJ skills up to "dude he tore the roof off" status, tragedy struck. He had barely found a niche in the DJ world when the Superstar DJ phenomenon was spawned.
