OneWayFare formed in August 2004, initially as a duo comprising of Tony P (Vocals) and Blewy (Acoustic Guitar, back up vocals). They spent a year or so developing their songs. The time was right to bring in a Bass Player to the mix and Stoz joined the band. Mentor on Drums and Hamish on harmonica have been recent inclusions to the band. 2006 sees OneWayFare playing plenty of gigs around Canberra including the Pot Belly, Phoenix Bar, Red Ghecko and ANU Bar. They are looking at touring up the East Coast during the summer months. Their songs can be described as a bluesy, funky, acoustic music with a dash of Reggae. Winning the Pot Belly Battle of the Bands last year the band won 2 days recording at Redsun Studios. They hope to complete an EP by December 2006 with a release heading into the summer months.
