‘open’ came about by accident, really. University friends, Gab Rogers and Daniel Pugliese had an impromptu jam at a party and decided to get some songs together. After playing through some covers, new original songs began to emerge. They then got together with Pete Neville and put out a self titled EP. More finely crafted pop and rock songs came about and ‘For the Faint of Heart’ was born, with the inclusion of the much loved Falling Joys song, ‘Lock It’. Drummer/percussionist Pete Neville has trod the stage with Trout Fishing in Quebec, the Resin Dogs, and on occasions You Am I, and can be heard making a racket with Christa Hughes and the Honky Tonk Shonks. Vocalist Gab Rogers is more at home on the theatrical stage, teaching famous and not so famous actors, directing films and generally being much prettier than her big brothers Tim and Jaimme. Guitarist/vocalist and fine wordsmith Daniel Pugliese has made music with Rainhouse and The Make and is a lover of all things literary.
