A Veteran of the Australian Hip Hop scene, OptiMystic first exploded with his debut double album in 2016. Only too blow up again in 2020 after dropping his breakthrough single SMAAASH. With 300k+ streams on Spotify. ‘SMAAASH’ (featuring Method Man, Bertie Anderson & JR), was the lead single from his highly anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Salty Waterz 2’. After being featured on independent radio stations and countless online hip-hop publications,“Salty Waterz 2” was hailed to have the most impressive list of feature artists, to ever be assembled on an Australian hiphop album. The albums legacy of merging underground ‘Aussie’ talent with countless international heavy weights, is unparalleled.
