orangutang is a multi-instrumentalist from Adelaide, South Australia who can't seem to get much right other than music (and even that's a push) Refusing to confine to one genre, and incorporating elements of funk, bluegrass, folk and pop while staying true to his roots in indie rock; orangutang is just a self-taught guy trying to express himself through music instead of seeing a psych. Upon graduating a Bachelor of Music in 2019 he began work on a weekly experimental YouTube series, 'Minute Riffs', that quickly gained popularity in 2020; and then died off like things tend to do. In 2021, prompted by a statewide 7-day lockdown; orangutang recorded, (roughly) produced and released "the soundhole demos" - a compilation of tunes written between 2015 and 2021 detailing his true fears and beliefs that he is constantly used and neglected by the people around him and reflects how unwilling he is to trust other people... In his opinion, she'll be right.
