Orbits is a three-piece Melbourne-based eclectic sound and vision project. Orbits fuse electronica, drone and beats with at times dispersed distant vocal lines to create a unique sound – moving between shoegaze, kraut-rock, and psychedelic house styles. This trilogy of tracks is based on Smith's driving, improvised loops, Crocket’s mechanical beats, and bass grooves, and McCusker's countering guitar work.
