Edit history

Formed in late 2012, Origins(AUS) started out as a fast paced metal band, and spent the first half of 2013 experimenting with different sounds, as well as writing for their upcoming 5 track EP. As the year went on, and with influences fusing together from a range such as Erra, Northlane and Emmure, they began to find a slower paced, cleaner and heavier sound. Decisions were made and what was left of the original songs began to take shape and form to their new sound. Their first single "Perspectives" was released early in 2014, with "Messages" to follow shortly after. In October 2014, they teamed up with Guest vocalist Jordan Chase, (Shreddy Krueger/Secret and Whisper) for their latest single "Life Support."
