In early March of 2007, six neighbourhood friends (except Kyle because as much as he is our friend he lives miles away) decided to start a ska band. Since they started the boys have battled against 14 Cairns bands and came out in first place. The boys have had raving reviews from staff at the Tanks Art Centre and are working their way into the industry. Oscars Big Head is working on six original songs to fill up an EP and four songs available for free from their myspace, followed by a small tour down the coast for its release. Between them, the boys listen to every kind of music from grunge to emo to punk to christian.
