Mysterious, haunting, bewitching, mesmerizing; these are terms typically used to describe the atmospheric indie-folk music of Owls of the Swamp, the moniker of Australian born (Iceland based) songwriter and musician, Pete Uhlenbruch. His forthcoming EP is called Meteorite and is due for release on 4th November 2016 through Labelship records. Written in the aftermath of a transformative trip to the jungles of Peru, where Uhlenbruch worked with shamanic visionary plant medicine, the Meteorite EP offers deep, vulnerable and raw personal reflections on impermanence, the journey of the soul, facing one's shadows and the cultivation of self-care and awareness.
