ÖZERGUN is a six piece band of devout music lovers whose ages span over a decade between the oldest and youngest members. What originally began as a lonely solo project has turned into nothing short of family, and the band's culture has overflowed into the creation of a music community. A range of local artists now regularly rehearse and perform at the band's HQ in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. ÖZERGUN explores a variety of rock, funk, jazz, folk, and world music flavours through an Australian lens. Deeply personal yet refreshingly accessible lyrics connect the dots between local and universal truths.
