Paintbox City- Biography Formed in 2008, the Alternative Power-Pop band, Paintbox City has evolved into an incredible six piece band. Having recorded three EPs since formation, The EP of 2011 demonstrated their original and uniqueness of song writing and catchy chord progressions with single "Destination" Comprised of vocalist Melanie Louw, guitarist Shane Bell and John Lamont, bassist Mop Harris, keyboardist Bob Sta-Maria and drummer Stan Roomey. Paintbox City has marked their territory in the South West Sydney region Playing alongside accomplished bands such as The Getaway Plan, Hunting Grounds and Closure in Moscow at the local Campbelltown Fisher's Gig in 2011 and 2012, the band have dominated the stage with their appearance and connections with their audience.The Alternative Power-Pop genre allows the band to collaborate and further prosper their musical identity in numerous ways. In 2011, Paintbox City competed in the Global Battle of the Bands receiving 1st place in the Semi
