In late 2010, as summer was kicking into gear,Paper Arcade came together as the brainchild of guitarist Ry Hamilton-Smith. As his vision began to take shape, he sought out the rhythmic talents of drummer Wayde Suchadolskiy as well as Brodie Rogers' scintillating guitar technique. Shortly after, Hilary Hutchinson joined in on bass and the four-piece set about rehearsing rigorously, earning them a string of gigs in no time. Over the course of the past year, the band recorded two EPs, showcasing their unique sound, as well as winning over crowds with their energetic and loud live shows; all of which has culminated in being winners of regional Victoria's Battle of the Bands and a spot at Pushover Festival 2012. Stay tuned, friends.
