Paper Memory started off as a confessional to music and then matured into more of a melodic storytelling. As the lyrics evolved so has the music, moving from an acoustic punk feel to more folk alt country leanings reminiscent of Elliott Smith and Jeff Tweedy (Wilco). Lately since moving from Fremantle (Australia) to Oslo (Norway) I have also recently discovered a falsetto to my voice leading to a vocal styling similar to Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley. I enjoy performing and discovering new friendships through music along the way.
