Paper Round, a band with 82 years of experience between the 4 of them, have a unique sound which draws from a range of influences. Everything from classic rock icons to folk singer-songwriters have inspired the sound of this band. The most significant being the 80s post-punk movement and the 21st century indie-rock DIY ethic. The band fuse this DIY charisma with the chorus driven post-punk charm, along with introspective lyricism wise beyond their years to create a sound that is uniquely their own. Over the past few years they’ve gained a foothold in their local scene on the Gold Coast. 2020 brings the project to the rest of the world starting with their debut single Rabbit Hole.
