PARADOXIANS is the solo project of a cartoon-loving mysterioso who hails from Sydney’s Inner West. This act combines all things surreal & heartfelt with a fascination with the antiquated world. The songs are constructed as a kind of dystopian pop using a cheap 60s guitar, theremin, his trusty microphone soldered from an olive green rotary dial telephone, a reel-to-reel tape recorder once used for courtroom proceedings plus an array of samples and effects. These tunes are both sweet and haunting could possibly make your dog wear granny panties in a lost bathtub full of ice cream melting in the sun.. in the sun... in the sun.... The debut EP, "CAPSTAN SHACK" is available now through the glorious interweb at prdxns.bandcamp.com !!
