She/her I am a 17-year-old musician who loves alternative/indie rock and folk music. As well as pursuing a career in music, I aspire to work in wildlife conservation and am a devoted bird-lover. This led to deciding on my performer name, 'pardalote', the name of one of my favourite Australian birds. It's always struck me that pardalotes so often go unnoticed because they're really tiny, yet up close they are so beautifully and intricately patterned. To me, they are like little jewels in the tree tops. I play multiple instruments - I learnt piano for eight years, before turning to guitar and singing, which felt more relevant to the music I was interested in. I'm still trying to work out my style as a musician, and so far the most I know is that I want to stand out, be different, and be myself!
