We are PARIS || TEXAS, an Alt./Country/Folk band from Melbourne, Australia. We count Johnny Cash, Wanda Jackson, The Kills, Tom Waits, and the Rolling Stones as our chief influences. Ruby and Tom have played together previously as members of Indie-pop outfit Tropical Gordon, evolving this new band as a natural progression of their shared musical tastes. Keys player Gabe has also worked with Ruby and Tom on various other projects in the past. Folks in Tassie can catch us at the following shows in October: 19/10 Royal Oak Hotel, Launceston 20/10 Tapas Lounge Bar, Devonport 22/10 Alley Cat Bar, Hobart 23/10 Tunes in Blooms Festival, Lilydale (sold out) Cheers, we hope you enjoy us. P.a.r.i.s || T.e.x.a.s Ruby, Tom, Joel and Gabe.
