Park Haven is an electro-pop duo from Sydney, born out of a husband and wife’s curiosity of what they could create together to reconcile their differing musical backgrounds of musical theatre and indie rock. The result is a combination of the duo’s aptitudes for poppy vocals and twangy guitar riffs with a healthy serve of 80’s drum machines and synthesisers. Their new EP, ‘Fragile’, explores the complexities of relationships, particularly the common entanglements of romance. It was written, recorded and self-produced in the smallest room of their poky Sydney unit, part of the retro apartment building, after which the band is named.
