Eora based post-punk project Paste share their debut two-track release ‘I’ll Wait / Buried In Gold’. Drummer (Vin) and bassist (Archie) started out together in various different bands before branching out on their own. They jammed hip hop grooves in their room and felt instant synschonricity and exploration in their playing. The mixed bag of styles reflects their organic journey from a groove-focused punk band which pulls ethereal vocals and guitar playing from local folk rock artist Maia Toakley. Paste’s upcoming self titled EP explores relationships and finding freedom in them, even in their impermanence.
