Equally inspired by vintage and modern-day house music, Pat Sparrow's productions fuse elements of US house with 1980’s jazz-funk and soul music. Parallel harmonies, swung percussion and bumpin’ basslines are all characteristic of the Sparrow sound. Despite Sparrow’s love of house, it’s clear that years of crate digging have bestowed upon him a broad taste in music. This is reflected in his approach to live performances, where he often takes varied explorations through Detroit techno, funk, and garage.
