Paul Washington's songs have swinging rhythms, smart lyrics, delivered in a unique vocal style. He mixes vintage country and rock'n'roll with the great sounds of western swing. “It was déjà vu when I realized I first heard swing music at my mother's knee. She used to sing in the big band days and that put that music in my DNA. This CD was a tribute to her -- that’s why I put her on the cover.”
