For lovers of heavy blues and 90s grunge and stoner, Peeling Sun have a powerful and harmonious sound that combines both super heavy riffs with softer blues elements. In what seems to be a completely original sound in today’s rock scene they draw influences form as wide as Led Zeppelin to Alice in Chains as well as more contemporaries such as Child and Earthless. With only a few gigs under their belt in 2018, Peeling Sun are quickly proving to be a formidable live act, captivating audiences with their heavy and smooth grooves.Gigging a few years back the 5 piece now have now reemerged with a new line up bursting with talent with prolific singer Mark Spano fronting the group with his raspy and emotive vocals. Damian Poulter and Simon Vozlic riff impeccably together on guitar whilst Matthew Rooney and Adam Branson hold solid rhythms on the lower frequencies. Peeling Sun are due to follow up their singles ‘Irate’ and ‘To the bone’ with a debut EP this year.
