pegasus thoughts is Mads and Andrew, two dog parents who accidentally started dating while jamming and going to gigs as ‘definitely just friends’. The project took shape after the purchase of a banjo and a small scruffy rescue dog, resulting in their debut song ‘Luna’. The song was written in a single session in their home studio using Luna’s snorts as percussion and her story of abandonment as inspiration. The release was a collaborative effort with Mads’ other band Peach Lane who took it to shimmering new heights while keeping the original recordings from the day it was written. Mads (vocals, guitar, production) and Andrew (vocals, banjo, guitar) are inspired by bands like Pinegrove, Bon Iver, boygenius and Yoke Lore. The pegasus thoughts project is about embracing rough edges and making songs with friends, old and new.
