Hailing from Australia's country music mecca of Tamworth, NSW, Penrose (Producer & Songwriter) has always been something of an enigma amongst her peers. Unafraid to take risks she pairs authentic farm girl grit with all the sass and finesse of a bonafide city slicker. Her genre bending music is unashamedly a reflection of her soul, her experiences and her generation. Teaming lyrics that speak of heart felt yearnings and wonder with bombastic ear worm beats; Penrose's unique sound will be sure to affect your every pore not least due to her vocal ability and melismatic style. Historically a guitar based singer songwriter, Penrose emerged from 2020 having undertaken something of a creative renaissance. Partnering with producer, Toby Chew Lee - a prodigious talent in his own right - the quixotic alchemy of the epic, sleek, beats-driven pop created as a result is undeniable.
