Pete Denahy’s career so far has seen him produce records that range from ridiculous comedy, through to straight ahead bluegrass, where he and his fiddle feel very much at home. Pete cut his teeth with the Slim Dusty show in the late nineties and afterwards went on to present his own show at festivals and halls. He works “old style” mostly. His love of tradition means that nearly all his shows are just shy of being steam driven. A condenser mic, a couple of speakers and some handmade instruments provide a vehicle for songs that range from whacky to heartbreaking.
