Musician and songwriter since early 1970's. First composition 1972. About 25 songs in the portfolio, most are complete but unrecorded, some to be reworked one of these days. Studied recording techniques at Sony Music in 2001 and also studied copyright law in the same year. I work solo - composing, performance, recording and production - using modest equipment. I record to a Tascam 4-track, or to the computer using Cool Edit Pro, Audacity, Sound Forge and others. Prefer tape though - seems smoother and warmer than digital recording (listen to "Whatcha Gonna Do". Wr.2000, Rec.2006). Only a rough draft but it is assembled at least. Other two tracks are also rough drafts, e.g. "Look Out For Jane" (Wr.1999, Rec.2006) is incomplete. I know they all have their stitches showing. Hoping to get recognised as a songwriter and just maybe (if I'm lucky) have somebody like one or two of them enough to use them. Not into gigs and live performance (at 59 I'm a bit old for that now!) - just hoping
