A musical autodidact hailing from one of rural South Australia's cosmopolitan centres, Peter Lawson's music is characterised by a harmonic richness and rhythmic invention complimented by his own melancholically playful lyrics. When not working under his own name Peter has produced seven albums, one podcast series and an Adelaide Fringe show under the alias of Rasch (an 18 piece group whose members didn't exist, so it was necessary to invent them.) Peter's ambition is to write integrated musical comedies, but in the meantime he is doing the next best thing: recording a tribute album to Bryan Adams's song titles.
