Petiguana experiments with alternate forms of musical expression; fusing satisfyingly convoluted rhythms and harmony with a solid groove and soul-touching lyrics. Petiguana’s reliable unexpectancy and velvety vibe can be attributed to their merging of the many genre influences that their members transparently carry with them. Their neo-soul driven grooves will be sure to transport you away to a higher place. “I think this city is proving itself as the soul capital of Australia. To me, Petiguana has solidified this view.” – Chiefly Sounds “There’s so much to appreciate here; that wonderful neo-soul meets jazz sound, the warm production, the many twists and turns the band takes you on.” – Lachlan Wyllie, FBI radio
