petre out was a solo artist in the vein of Daniel Johnston before father & son team Andy Heaney and Harry Heaney Garzoli (the tyreslashers) joined in and broadened his sound. The band played with Sonny & the Sunsets before recording their debut single - Another Morning in the Penny Black - about an early opener in Edinburgh. petre out & the tyreslashers' songs range from C86 pop to the abbreviated krautrock of their debut single.
