Phantazmagoria is a funk/rock band in Bellingen. It was formed in 2005 as an all guitar band, with members, Che Hannington, Lachlan Jolly, Charlie Sheather and Gabriel Lancaster. But soon Che grew more attracted to the bass, and Lachlan, who had previous experience with the Drums, turned drummer. The band quickly developed. Phantazmagoria went smoothly from there, performing at a number of gigs, and recorded several songs for a short film. But after a couple of years, Gabriel left the band. Phantazmagoria continued as a three-man show till 2007, when Guitarist Sam Hughes, who had been jamming with Che and Charlie for a while, was introduced into the band for a trial. After four weeks and a gig, Sam got an invite into the band, which he willingly accepted. Just recently PhantaZmagoriA finally found a lead singer which they have been looking for, for about 5 years. His name is Jake Hiddinga and has been a huge asset to the band, since joining they PhantaZmagoriA are booming out some
