My name is Phat Bird aka Rex Stringer. I am a 14yr old producer/performer from Harrietville. I produce original electronic music that will take you on a journey from deep funky base through chilled out melodies into ambient space. Last winter I regularly played at The General, Mt Hotham and will be there again on June 26th, and July 10th, this year. I can often be heard at jam nights at the Snowline Hotel in Harrietville or on a street corner or at an event in the Ovens Valley. Since my performance at the 2018 Alpine region Freeza Push start competition and the Hume finals, I have been honing my craft under the guidance of Joe Davis and Tim Schroeder. I recently performed at Let’s Take Over festival and the Mt Beauty Music Festival. I have produced many tracks which can be found at https://soundcloud.com/phat_bird/tracks including my latest release, Horizon and recent collaboration, Autumn, which can also be found on Spotify and Apple Music.
