Far North born and bred, Phat Love is more than a band, it is a movement and a collective. With each member bringing their own style and influences, they seamlessly blend their large array of instruments and voices across multiple genres. Predominantly considered Funk/Hip-Hop, their music fuses fun and heartfelt rap and rhyme with mind blowing, skilfully presented instrumentals intertwined with soulful female vocals. The group has and continues to grow quite the loyal following, performing festivals and headlining shows, organising and setting up local events and even supporting and playing alongside Australian heavyweights such as Mau Power, Resin Dogs, Lil Mase and Drapht. A performance not to be missed, their mind stimulating show will have you laughing, dancing, hugging your neighbor and singing along. The name says it all. A big Phat Love for everyone.
