I am a songwriter and studio performer and I only ever record my own material. My genre could best be described as Adult Contemporary or Easy Listening and I tend to write mainly ballads, though I will venture into other areas if I have an idea that is good enough! These days, I’m all about quality rather than quantity. I would rather write one good song a year than 10 average ones. I have been lucky to have collaborated with two of Australia’s great musical talents, Michael Cristiano and Lisa Edwards, having co-written “The Last One Leaving” with Michael and having Lisa record my song “Slow” (production by Michael). Other highlights have included collaborating with good friend and Australian creative specialist, Ross Calia, on various musical and audio/visual projects. By profession, I'm a lawyer but making music is a lot more fun. Phil's You Tube Channel - Phil Riggio Music https://www.youtube.com/@pwrmus8171
