Philasophigas (fill-ass-off-ee-gas): Noun 1. A solo musical artist in possession of a healthy pop sensibility with an eclectic collection of sweet and/or melancholic songs resulting from playing, composing, programming, singing and sampling in no particular order. 2. A style of synergetic pop music made by combining the sounds of Radiohead, Kanye West, The Kinks, John Lennon, Aphex Twin, Bon Iver, Andre 3000, Elliot Smith, Beirut, Simon and Garfunkel and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. 3. The culmination of almost twenty years of widely varied, incomplete, sporadic, misguided, non-sequential forays into music and the music industry, crossed with a growing, possibly unreasonable but certainly unstoppable urge to leave a lasting musical legacy.
