Brisbane based songman Phill McKenna has been honing his craft for many years. A veteran on the circuit, Phill brings to the songwriting table ten years of touring and writing with his iconic band Those Bloody McKennas; and seven years setting up his home studio where he co-writes with his wife Clare Kildea (member of Those Bloody McKennas and The Water Signs). With two little boys running around in the background, the writing and recording techniques have changed over the years! And after all the hard work with family and day-jobs to boot, the joy of creating still shines through. Now song writing is included in their everyday family life, and the songs reflect a new found wisdom and deep compassion brought about by parenthood and the cycle of life.
