Darwin isn’t the natural home for electro pop artists, but Phoebe Olivia is making waves, proving the themes that drive a 20-year-old are the same in the inner city as the tropical outback. In her debut EP ‘Honeymoon’, Phoebe channels the Aussie vibes of Peach PRC and Cxloe with that smooth R&B-inspired quality of Victoria Monet and Jazmine Sullivan to create a unique sound that is as welcome on the dancefloor as it is through the headphones. “I love writing so much, and in making this record I got to work with some of the most amazing high end producers and engineers up here in Darwin and Sydney. That’s a pretty amazing experience for someone just out of high school." In November 2021, Phoebe was a Triple J Unearthed Feature Artist and is writing her next EP, due for release in 2022.
