It’s rock with delicious after-tastes of blues, alternative and funk. Picaro was spawned by 5 devious clowns over some beers one night. Fronted by queen o’ wails Mona, the boys Dave and Hunnam (guitars), Lewis (bass) and Jonesy (drums) provide on a silver platter; tasty licks, face-melting guitar solos, funky bass lines and gut-busting drum beats. All wrapped up together by a non-modest approach, over-the-top cheekiness and a pinch of madness, these kids will tear the stage to shreds. Picaro meaning ‘rogue’ or ‘rascal’ in Spanish perfectly depicts the band member’s characters. Officially banding at the beginning of 2011 through university, Picaro has delivered songs with poetic lyrical content and carefully constructed arrangements. Furthermore inspired by multiple genres such as ska, old school rock, progressive metal, punk, hardcore and basically anything under the sun, you name it.
