'Blow' is the first single from Pigeon Laundry's debut album, released on Romero Records, and launched September 15th at Django Bar. Although we can't be entirely sure, this is most likely the first musical use of a leaf blower. Pigeon Laundry is the brainchild of two musical mad scientists, violinist Shenzo Gregorio (FourPlay, Shenzo's Electric Stunt Orchestra) and guitarist Julian Curwin (The Tango Saloon, Darth Vegas). Largely avoiding their main axes, the debut recording sees the pair drawing from a wide arsenal including cavaquinho (Brazilian ukelele), detuned lap steel, leaf blower and even the kitchen sink.
