pink wool press are a swooning alt-rock conglomerate with ties to all corners of rural Victoria. Folk sensibilities with riff-heavy jangly guitars? Think you've heard it before? Think again. Find a russet clarinet, glockenspiel, saxophone, some scratchy megaphone and a few rural nostalgic sentiments and you might get somewhere close to pink wool press. Their sound derives from years of tinkering with instruments they shouldn't have bought, sparking an experimental quality that's grounded by a love for Smooth FM, 80's woollen jumpers and good doggos. Their second single 'Pseudo Hollywood Thrills' released in Oct 2018, encompasses the playful and gritty quality to pink wool press and expands on the folky edge to their debut single ‘I Really Hate To Bring It Up Again’.
