In early 2019, 3 entities from the Perth Hills WA regrouped and realigned - PLACID, Mild by Name, Wild by nature. Baccy Jaker (Bass/Vox), BJ Jones (Guitar) & Jim 'Moustachio' Holmes (Drums/Kazoo), deliver their brand of melodic, dynamic, juxta-opposed mesh of psychedelic grunge post-punk garage, also known simply as 'Rust" rock. Drawing from the likes of early Joy Division, Black Sabbath, The Stone Roses & Alice In Chains, blended with modern heavy psychedelic bands such Orb & Bitch Diesel just to name few. With their single 'S.O.B' out in March 2019 and the follow up EP 'Psychotropic' released in November all the above is best captured in their live natural habitat.
