Edit history

Initially formed back in the early eighties from the ashes of pop rock outfit Del Webb Explosion with an aim to create an authentic rock band along the lines of Dexy's Midnight Runners. Plan B were a major force in the Australian pub rock scene in the early to mid 80’s and the band released several successful singles, had radio and TV airplay and a growing following around Adelaide and the rest of Australia. Fast forward to August 2008, with a stated goal of keeping true to the sound and style that propelled Plan B's reputation in the 80's, the band reformed as PlanB with 4 original and 4 new members. Since then PlanB have toured extensively in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Mongolia, Indonesia and the United Kingdom, and have released 2 studio albums, one Live album and a studio vinyl EP.
