Lucas Gonze creates unsettling soundscapes where ancient and modern collide. Known for juxtaposing traditional acoustic instruments with harsh noise, his work explores themes of voicelessness and dissolution. His latest album "Astomatous" pairs shimmering mandolin with walls of static, creating a meditation on the self-murder of a friend.
