Please Be A Goat started around 4 years ago when we all started jamming and the like, as you do. Our former lead guitarist, best friend and main instigator of the band, Matthew Lynn, died tragically in 2005 which brought things to a halt for a while. We'd only performed limited shows, band comps usually, up until this time and with a reasonable demo cd we weren't sure what the future would hold for us. Friends being friends though, we kept at it, writing new tracks, supporting bands and doing as many gigs as we could. All this and more lead us to record our EP with Matt Hills in Adelaide in March 2008. We had a successful run of launches in Adelaide and Mt.Gambier. As of right now in 2009 we have been writing constantly and we consider our new tracks a defining point in our musical direction. They also kick ass! Please check out our myspace for more details and our facebook page has all the details of the up coming gig in December at the Jade Monkey!
