Edit history

Formed in mid 2008, Point of View is a five-piece band from Canberra. The band began when long time friends Jesse, Joe and Mark, decided to get together with their guitars and write music. The early demos began to take shape and it was clear that the music needed a full band to bring it to life. Enter Nik and Ryan. In early 2009 they released a three song demo Died Pretty, and hit the live circuit to back it up. For Point of View the rest of 2009 was spent building momentum through their blistering live shows, while still finding time to write and record. The sophomore EP, Pistols at Dawn, Shotguns at Brunch was released in 2010, with one of the tracks reaching number 1 on Triple J Unearthed. Having built their own recording studio, the band are now busy writing and recording a bunch of new material for a full length album to be released online.
