Polly and the Pockets began as the bedroom project of Jackson Pollerd (aka Polly), a multi-instrumentalist who grew up on the Mornington Peninsula. After releasing his self-produced, debut EP ‘Put the Kettle On’ in January 2018, Polly recruited his friends to help recreate his songs in a live setting. Now featuring a cast of rotating members from some of Melbourne's hottest bands, Polly and the Pockets has become a collaborative effort lead by Polly himself. With singles like ‘Milk Bottle’ and ‘Policeman’ drip fed over the years, Polly and the Pockets have recently released their debut album ‘Live to Love’. It’s packed full of groovy, quirky wonder that’s more ‘Polly’ than you’ve ever heard before.
