Seamlessly combining honeyed, warm vocals with dreamy, psychedelic arrangements, Pomaa is an expert in musical balance. The emerging singer-songwriter plays with waltzing pop, foggy shoegaze, and alt-rock in her music — and the result is truly unique, theatrical, and deeply satisfying. In her songs, Pomaa dives deep into human relationships, wading through their complexities, joys, hardships, and everything in between. The musician's latest single, Back In Time, is set to release on 30th August. On the track, Pomaa tells the story of someone stuck in old patterns, poisoned by nostalgia, and her attempt to talk them back to reality. Its magic comes from its biting lyrics, paired with an upbeat instrumental that betrays little about the song’s true meaning. Pomaa will be launching Back in Time with a solo set at Ringo Bar (MELB) on 21st September with support from Erin Will Be Mad & Tina Growls.
