Since forming in 2011, Porcelain Pill (Adam Scott-McGuinness and Madeleine Becker) have been steadily building an audience through their diverse and exciting live shows. The traditional band format is shattered and rebuilt from the floor up in this folktronica duo. Ponderous guitar and cello lines feed upon glitchy electronic beats to build a solid groove for the male and female vocal combination. At the end of 2013 Porcelain Pill received the RAW Artists Musician of the Year Award (Melbourne). Prizes included studio time with ARIA Award nominated mixing engineer Phil Threlfall (Pete Murray, Seth Sentry, 360, Jimmy Barnes...). The pair are now working with Phil on their follow up to 2013's self-titled EP (3 singles receiving Triple J Unearthed radio play). Porcelain Pill's live shows incorporate live looping and sampling along with traditional instruments to achieve this unique sound.
