Emerging on the scene in November 2021, Possum has been impressing audiences with her unique brand of hyperlocal folk and her humorous and heartfelt live show. Her band features the traditional lineup of a string band with sparse and delicate arrangements which allow her prowess as a vocalist to shine through. Following on from the release of "Night Out In South Melbourne" which saw radio play across Australian Community Radio, Possum announces her debut EP "Possum Bitter" and latest single "Bluestone". The single reflects on the history of Melbourne's bluestone quarries and laneways, and how quickly things can be changed, spoiled or lost when there isn't an understanding of what connects us or what is worth cherishing.
